All Indigenous Institutes seeking to offer an independent program must first undergo an Organization Review. Approval of an Organization Review is valid for ten (10) years.
There are twenty-five (25) standards required for an Indigenous Institute's Organization Review; however, for Institutes who have received accreditation from the World Indigenous Nations Higher Education Consortium within two years of applying to the Indigenous Advanced Education and Skills Council, only the six (6) Ontario-specific standards are required in the submission. These standards are marked by an asterisk (*) in the Council's Organization Review Handbook and Submission Guidelines.
Please consult the Organization Review Handbook and the Submissions Guidelines for more information.
